From import to export
Upload issuer workbooks
Bring each issuer’s monthly interest-payout workbook into one book of debenture payments.
Review what needs attention
Check validation flags and resolve blocked rows before committing an upload.
Export for each client
Download one workbook per client for Lekhavo, or a PDF or Excel statement for the last 3 or 6 months, the current or last financial year, or custom dates.
What NCD checks before you export
Totals that tie out
Every row’s interest, TDS, net and principal must tie out to within ₹1.50. A row that does not is held back and blocks that client’s export until you correct or exclude it.
Partial files never delete
An issuer that skips a month does not erase that month. A missing payment is flagged as stale only when a newer file covers the same client, ISIN and period.
Corrections survive re-uploads
A value you fix by hand stays fixed when next month’s cumulative workbook arrives, and the previous value stays in the payment’s history.
Exact amounts
Amounts are kept as exact decimals to six places, so a client’s import into Lekhavo does not pick up rounding drift.
Questions
- What does NCD do?
- NCD turns the monthly interest-payout workbooks that non-convertible debenture (NCD) issuers send a Chartered Accountant into one workbook per client PAN. Each client then needs a single import into Lekhavo instead of one import per issuer.
- Who is it for?
- Chartered Accountancy practices in India that track NCD interest, TDS and principal repayments for many clients across several issuers.
- Can a client get a statement of their NCD payments?
- Yes. From a client’s page you can download a PDF or Excel statement for the last 3 months, the last 6 months, the current financial year, the last financial year or custom dates. Payments are grouped by ISIN with gross interest, TDS, net interest, adjustments, principal repayment and totals.
- Does a statement prove the investor was paid?
- No. A statement lists the payments in the issuers’ workbooks. Confirm receipt against the bank statement before treating a payment as settled.
- How do I sign in?
- With Google, or with a one-time code sent to your email. You can also add a phone number or a passkey from your profile. NCD is invitation-only: an administrator grants your email address access to a company.
- How does it relate to Lekhavo?
- NCD is part of the Lekhavo suite but has its own database and no connection to Lekhavo. Its output is a workbook that you upload through Lekhavo’s normal NCD schedule import.
